1. South Carolina 27, at Missouri 24 2OT
South Carolina’s Elliott Fry nailed a 40-yard kick in the second overtime and Missouri’s Andrew Baggett clanged his 24-yard attempt of the upright to give the Gamecocks an improbable win. The Tigers were cruising along with a 17-0 lead in the fourth quarter, but USC turned to an injured Connor Shaw off the bench. He was magical, leading the way to two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter, including a two-yarder to Nick Jones with just 42 seconds to play, and a 15-yard throw to Bruce Ellington on fourth down in the first overtime to keep the game alive. Maty Mauk connected with L’Damian Washington on a 96-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter, and marched the Tigers to a scoring drive, capped off by a one-yard Marcus Murphy run, for a 24-17 overtime lead, but the defense couldn’t hold

They know from whence they speak...! It certainly was the highest profile SEC game that ended up in exciting fashion. For all that root for their respective teams, it was agonizing and exhilarating in its result!
