They're only playing him so teams will see what he can do and get a good trade with him.

This is the best the Redskins offense as looked all year.

He isn't the next coming of Peyton Manning but definitely has played well. The biggest thing I see is ball placement and fundamentals. RG III's injury really hurt his fundamentals and hurt his accuracy.

I would rather have Cousins. If I was a team like Houston, I would call and offer pick 33 and a late rounder for Cousins and take Clowney #1 over taking any of these QBs with the first pick. Could you imagine JD and Watt playing together?

As a Redskins fan....I have to agree with this. Can't wait for 2013 to be over with!

On a sad note....The Skins suck so bad and giving up their first round pick...they will prob. get absolute nothing in this years draft.

I agree the QBs coming out aren't worth the pick. Give a 3rd and 4th for Cousins and see if be pans out.

Cousins is a class act and a natural leader. Would not surprise me at all if he lands a starting gig somewhere.

I think the team really responded well to Kirk today. He is so much farther advanced in their offense than RG3, it's scary. Of course Kirk played in a pro style offense at MSU and RG3 didn't. One thing that the Redskins have next year is they get the 18 million salary cap back. But honestly, they have so many holes, it's really frustrating. I wonder who is going to be the next coach and how well RG3 will respond to a new offense.

That would be admitting they made a big mistake....plus, I'm not sure how much trade value he has with his knee after his performance this year.

Lost respect for RGIII when he got married and sent half nude pics to another chick

That special that ESPN did on him going through rehab, that is when I lost respect for him, brutal. The guy loooooves to talk about himself. The Weight Room Ironman thing sealed it.

This only makes sense if they keep the coaches. If you bring in a whole new staff than it really comes down to the OC they get. If you can get 2 first for RG III, trading him isn't an awful idea. However, I still think its too early to give up on RG III and annoint Cousins as a franchise QB.

I've been a Redskin since a kid. We have made some major bad picks & trades for QB's. A lot of them have went on to have really good careers with other teams. I think we need to keep both QB's. RGIII will get healthy & Cousins is a very good backup/replacement until he does.

Agree. I like RGIII and hopes he does well even if it takes him more time to develop. Seems Skins is a good franchise with a crap owner. I might even like Dallas if their owner would quit.
In some ways, I feel sorry for the guys who have to play for these teams with wierd owners who do dumb stuff with their $$.
