West Columbia and Cayce

I am probably going to end up getting at apartment close to Vista, I still want to know what other choices I have in these areas, I want to live close to the 26 intestate.

Any apartment place that you will recommend?

Im not rich so Im not looking for a luxury place but something descent and affordable, a place where I dont get jumped if I go out to run.

Thanks in advance

How much are you looking to spend? There are a few apartments in Cayce that run right along the river. Most have access to the Cayce Riverwalk which is an excellent place to go running. I go down there about twice a week. There is also Canalside right next to the vista. It's parking lot joins with the parking lot for Riverfront park in Columbia. It also have a great running trail running between the River and the Columbia Canal. Also there used to be a complex called Riverbend near the Cayce Riverwalk off of 378 in West Columbia.

Pavillion Towers are pretty affordable too. Those are the highrise buildings right there off Huger at 126. You can be on the interstate in less than a minute.

Riverbend is a nice place. Or it least it was when I lived there from 2003-2006. If I remember right, rent was like $550-$600 for a 2-bedroom single bath and that included some of the utilities.

My mother lives in Cayce, although she has never had much if any issue there, they did have a water main break a while back and were without water for almost 3 days.
