that is pretty cool. I don't think it will start an every week thing, but it could open the eyes of some college and NFL OC's. just think how that could go inside the 10 yard line, using some younger and more athletic offensive lineman.

It was a great thing to do to show appreciation for a 14 year lineman that had been there the whole time. They designed the play knowing that they would have to call time out after it to keep him on the field. Really cool thing to do in todays NFL where it is all about the money.

Today's paper said that when Meester was announced as eligible, the Titan's OL stood up on the sideline because they knew what was coming.

I feel for Meester, he has 6 daughters. Poor guy, great gesture from the Jags. Weird part was they announced he was eligible as a receiver over the loudspeaker and the Titans still didn't catch on.

He was the only player announced during player introductions.

I agree, great gesture from the Jags.

Looking at the film, if he'd cut outside instead of running into his own lineman, he'd possibly have scored a TD.

Ace needs to help him work on his field vision. :football:

After the game he said that before the play, he prayed: "Lord, just don't let me drop it".

Haha, the resulting lasting dull but inconvenient pain would be enough I hope you'll give props for the gesture on Jacksonville's part.

I bet that Jag's lineman has caught more NFL passes than that guy, I wouldn't worry about him.
