Congrats on the Bowl Win

I was glad to see you get the win and a top ten finish for the season!

I'm looking forward to our game next year even though I don't know how good we'll be - especially at the start of the season. I really wish we could have played each other this year while you had Clowney and we had Manziel.

Thanx AT
With Eric Hyman's footprint all over the recent success here at SC
(not only the football program, but the baseball team as well), and with
him now the AD at Ta&m, I can see this rivarly between SC and Tex A&M
developing into a great matchup yearly IF our programs do become permanent
cross division games. Congrats on coming to the SEC and being a tough
nut right off the bat. You guys added to the long standing position that
the SEC is the power conf. of College Football, and it only got stronger
when you guys and Mizzou joined.

Welcome to Cockytalk, thanx for the post, and please make yourself

Next year will be interesting.
Both teams bringing in new QBs...arguably two QBs that made the difference for both teams.

For TAMU, I'm interested to see if they make any changes on the defensive staff, because right now, that was their only weakness this season.

Thanks. The SEC has been a lot more fun for us and I'm looking forward to this rivalry and hope it doesn't feel too forced at the beginning.

I don't think we'll have massive defensive coaching changes, which is odd for possibly the worst defense in major college football. Sumlin understands that we simply don't have the players right now. We're having another great recruiting class of defensive players and while I don't think our defense will be good next year, by 2015, it better be good. I'm not one for getting my hopes up two years down the road - I want to win now - it's usually foolish to get your hopes up on 18 and 19 year old kids winning games for you.
