How do I find out how the pollsters voted?

I put this in the thread about our final ranking, but it got buried. I didn't want to make a new thread just for this, but here it is.

Anyway, I know at least one person has posted a link in the past to a site that shows how the AP voters arranged their individual ballots. I also think there has been one for the coaches. Will whoever has posted that link post it for the final polls? I have tried my luck with search engines, but I failed. Thanks in advance.

Funny he gave us our lowest and clemson their highest. Hmmm

I noticed that too. But he's an aggie writer, so what would his reason be?

I was kind of surprised to see Chris Fowler had us at #4. I generally perceive that he likes to take shots at us, so I wasn't expecting this.

Can anyone find a link to how the coaches voted in the final poll? The only one I can find was pre-bowl (December 8), when we were voted #8. Of interest, in the pre-bowl poll:
George O'Leary 4
Charlie Strong 5
Rick Stockstill 5
Kevin Sumlin 6
Frank Beamer 7
James Franklin 7
Les Miles 7
Nick Saban 7
Steve Spurrier 7
Dabo Swinney 8

I emailed him and asked what his reasoning was in ranking us behind clemson, Missouri and UCF even though we beat all three. He had some valid points but I don't necessarily agree with them. He seems like a decent enough guy.

His response:

After the first two, it came down to splitting hairs. I moved around many teams several times for about 30 minutes, including South Carolina. I've always thought Spurrier does a great job.

The upside for South Carolina was beating the three times you mention, but the downers were the losses to Georgia and Tennessee. Missouri was 5-2 against ranked team. Mizzou also won the division, beating two teams that South Carolina didn't. Clemson lost to the best team in the nation and to its rival on the road, but rebounded to beat a good Ohio State team in the Orange Bowl.

I don't have any problem with getting questioned. It's one man's thoughts. I also had Central Florida higher than most and it lost only to South Carolina, maybe a game UCF should have won.

I certainly see your point, as did the majority of the voters as South Carolina was No. 4 in both polls and Clemson No. 7 and No. 8 (a few coaches must have thought like me).

I am looking forward to the trip to S. Carolina next year (A&M has played at Clemson), that's if I don't lose my job over poor voting.

Have a good year

Robert

Really nice of him to respond like that. Everyone has their opinions.

Haha no they didn't. They were 3-2 with victories over Okie state, aTm and Vandy losses to Auburn and USC. Unless hes counting Ole Miss and UGA as ranked teams (they were when Mizzou played them I guess)

That is pretty cool that he responded to you though

The coaches poll is garbage because it has Clemson ranked higher than Alabama.

That is stupid, because rankings are meaningless early in the year.

I emailed him back and told him I appreciated him taking the time to respond. It's nice to know how some of these voters think though. I thought about asking him where he thought we would be pre-season but I didn't want to bother him too much.
