Any concern that FSU goes after Ward?

The Noles just lost their DC Pruitt to UGA. Was just wondering if FSU would bid on Ward? This is all sheer speculation. I have no proof that this would happen.

From what I just saw on Twitter, and I don't know how valid this is, they may be going after Venables.

Before any house Tigers bash me, I don't know if its credible. It's just something I have seen mentioned by several folks on there.

But to answer the question, I don't see them going after Ward right now.

Not at all, and at this point I believe the university can afford to keep him if they need to.

Damn... if Morris left for Vandy and Ven. left for in division rival? Pickens county would be in full suicide watch mode.

FSU cannot outbid us for Whammy. They are ACC.

FSU doesn't have a history of spending money on coordinators (per 107.5 earlier today).

:woo::woo::woo: Whammy and SOS are pretty tight. I'm told he wouldn't leave even if offered the Bama DC job if it was ever open.:wink::wink:

I was surprised FSU lost a d coordinator off a national championship team to an SEC team that paid him the exact same amount as their outgoing d coordinator. That speaks very well to the wealth of SEC athletic departments.

If Kirby Smart ever leaves 'Bama be worried. Other than that Whammy's next job will be a head coaching gig.

It does but the outgoing DC at UGA also made $300,000 more a year than he did and he coached the National Champs.....just saying pay me 300k more a year when i'm making 500k already and to do the same job ill take it too regardless of what the guy before me was making.
