I would've been too... http://mmqb.si.com/2014/01/20/richar...hael-crabtree/

I still wouldn't call Crabtree a sorry receiver. That is ok, lets see how Mr. Macho man does against Peyton Manning in the biggest game in football.

It's personal between those two. Supposedly they met at Larry Fitzgerald's summer camp and Crabtree got in Sherman's grill, threatening a fight.

Boys being boys.

Wow, that shove was so brutal. I'm surprised Sherman was able to walk after that. You're right, he really showed him.

You take a cheap shot? Well that is the Steve Smith way...

Wasn't much of a cheap shot on the play, he just beat Sherman and he had to put his arms over his back.

By the way, has anyone thought to call him "The Sherminator" yet?

Erin Andrews looked like she feared for her life in that interview.

Sometimes it makes me groan at the things he says, but I was 25 once. When he's not pumped up, he really is an interesting guy, and very much a student of the game:

The guy is currently working on his masters at Stanford.

And I sort of fault the media for this one. You ambush a guy whose in the zone and just made the play to send his team to the Super Bowl. A play intentionally designed to dis him. They didn't throw much his way all night, but wanted to pin the winning touchdown on him. It Was Personal. Fortunately neither Craptree or Kraepernick have his level of talent or intelligence.

Maybe that's how your post was supposed to look?

I'd take a punch or ten for her!

I think Randy Savage just turned over in his grave over that video editing

Even for a Masters student, this should help dispel the notion of academic athlete. His degree was in "Communications" and while he passed with an "A" apparently he just made it to class the minimum required times.

Yeah, even the Mighty Stanford bends when it comes to the money of athletics.

This photo proves that Erin was in fear for her life from that thug.

did anyone hear Erin take on. She said it is what you always ask for not the nonsense 1 game at a time. She said "he lost his mind for a minute and it was awesome"

Re: Richard "Macho Man" Sherman

I like the guy, but I suppose fans of other teams might not like him. But at the end of the day, you have to ask yourself, would you rather have him on your team, or the opposing team?

You have to remember it was a double ambush. You don't think Crabtree and Kapernick didn't intentionally want to score the go ahead on him? Kapernick hadn't thrown his way except one other time the whole game. They got greedy and wanted to win the game and at the same time embarrass Sherman. And he not only tipped the pass, he tipped it to a teammate, something he says he always tries to do.

Then a reporter runs up to him right after the moment and sticks a mic in his face. I'm 52 and have learned my lesson about being overly cocky (no pun intended), but I would have probably said something even more stupid. Your arch nemesis just played his best hand, and came up short to your talent and hard work?

The mental state required to play CB at the NFL level is off the charts. Takes a while to transition back to normal time. Actually I remember Gilmore talking a lot about the mental aspect.

The media thrives on this. That's why they want to get you while you're all pumped up, before game mind transitions back to calm wise mind.

I highly doubt that.
