2014 Gamecock Leaders

Just to pass the time between now and signing day, who do you predict will lead the team in TD passes, receptions, rushing yards, tackles and sacks in 2014?

TD Passes: Dylan
Receptions: Roland
Rushing Yards: Mike Davis
Tackles: K Lewis
Sacks: Griffin

Wow, that was a lot tougher than I anticipated when I started....

Re: 2014 Gamecock Leaders

I'm hoping that English gets his body weight up a few pounds and can produce like we imagined him to do so when he committed. Obviously he was a great high school player, but he was only a 3 star for a reason, and it was because he lacked the size of a typical college DE in terms of weight.

I will not ever call him a "bust" for that reason, but he hasn't really produced that much - at least in the statistical categories that is. Maybe he'll have a breakout year and be a very good DE for us this up coming season. Sneaky bold pick I guess for sack leader. He has the work ethic to do it.

As far as all other stat leaders go, I expect now that Roland, Davis, and Skai Moore take care of Receptions, Rec. Yards, rushing yards, and tackles - maybe even TFL. As far as Passing TD's/Yards, well that depends on who comes out as the starter come August 28th. I know that 85-90% of fans will automatically assume it will be Dylan, and while that would be a great option - he has to keep the job this off season. I'm sure that comment alone will catch a lot of heat, and yes I know what Steve Spurrier said. This is no "I'm rooting for the backup" post, I'm simply rooting for whoever can get the job done. I haven't favored a QB to play since Stephen Garcia > Connor Shaw in the 2011 season. Turned out terribly, but we all know about his offseason that year.

I hope Dylan keeps the job, but with that said if Mitch or Nosovitch earn the right to start I'm pulling for them too.

Do you think he'd win the Heisman?

Most people seem to forget about Damiere.

Griffin is an DT, the sack leader will be Doobie.

In addition to leading the team in tackles I think Skai may lead in INTs again this yr. Kid has a knack for being in the right place.

Yep, I believe DT has lead our team in sacks 2 of last 3 years. Interested to see if this trend continues with Clowney gone???

I agree with some of that, some wishing on that Mitch part, who knows. I do believe one of our LB's are going to have the most sacks this season, I'm just not sure which one.

LOL...if you're right about these two then you deserve more than anyone could offer.

I wouldn't put it past Holloman to lead the team in tackles. Who predicted him having three INT's this year and playing as well as he did?
