Shaw/Gamecocks ESPY chance.

Simple question and already bored with the offseason. Wanted to see what everyone thought about the Gamecocks/ Connor Shaw possibly having a shot at an ESPY for greatest comeback? I know its a long shot at a simple little award but its still exposure.

Nah, I would think there were too many other good comebacks that get considered before us. But he had a heroic game nontheless

Game wasn't "high profile" enough. Its all a popularity contest. But you never know.

That is a great question none the less

The miracle in Jordan Hare is going to win best comeback.

Which one? Against UGA or UA?

These are all possibilities...

AU vs. UGA
AU vs. UA
A&M vs. Duke
FSU vs. AU (Considered due to it being the National Championship and ESPN being on Winston's jock)

If I was voting, I would say the A&M vs. Duke game was the most exciting comeback.

Eh...I don't think either one of the miracles win best comeback. Auburn blew a 20 point lead to let Georgia come back and take a 1-point lead. That miracle happened with 48 seconds left. The Auburn-Alabama game was tied when the other miracle happened.

Connor shaw came in with like 3 minutes in the 3rd, brought us back from a big deficit, the entire team rallied around him. How was it not high profile? A top match up for the SEC east? Come on, he should win an espy.

Should get a nomination but Auburn will win for one of their two comeback victories.

Is think the Colts comeback against the Chiefs would win. I don't think they break it down to individual sports.

It's of 2013 right?

Broncos- Ravens NFL divisional round
Bruins-Maple Leafs NHL playoffs (bruins down 4-1 with 15 mins to go in game 7)
Louisville-Cuse final 4. UL was down 18.

Also add the Colts comeback over KC

(Those are some)

That was more of a choke job than a comeback, but yeah it should be mentioned. Still haven't completely gotten over that loss. I was four years old the last time the Chiefs won a playoff game.

Uga Au was no comeback Auburn dominated Uga and held off a ferocious comeback from the dogs.

auburn would get nominated first, but neither of their wins to close out the regular season are great comebacks. both are incredibly memorable plays and endings to games, but both were close games in the 4th quarter and the bama game was tied before the fg return. the memorable hail marys that have won games in the past arent called great comebacks, theyre called great singular plays.

being down 17 on the road in the 4th quarter against an undefeated team at the time that finished in the top 10 and all the circumstances, off the top of my head i dont think there was a more impressive comeback this college football season.

Lol auburn and uga/au were not great "comebacks"...the only auburn game with a comeback was the NCG when fsu came on their backs...after coming back
