Vin Diesel would make a better Lex Luther. Or even Howie Mandel:lol:

But Jesse Eisenberg? He doesn't exactly fit the description of evil villain. Maybe hyperactive kid with a minor stutter.

Ehh, these producers know they have 100 million per movie if its decent..they are just looking for a way to keep the story modern which allows them to keep making movies.

in 20 yrs kids will think lex is an evil techno weenie who throws disaster on the earh by shutting down skynet..

I thought Brian Cranston was playing Lex, now this? This movie is officially doomed.

Cranston was never playing lex. It was a rumor. It was one of those this guy should play him and people ran with it. Heisenberg and Eisenberg sound alike maybe someone got confused

Oh okay, thanks for clearing it up. Hot happy about this hire though.

i think it makes sense. Lex Luthor of 21st century would be a nerdy Mark Zuckerberg type.

i'm surprised and would have much rather seen bryan cranston, joaquin phoenix or some of the others rumored. but i get the reasoning at least.

I think Bruce Willis would have been good in the role.

Lex Luther is a middle-age business tycoon and land wrangler to me so it will be interesting to see were this story goes.

Are we doing muppet babies?

Eisneberg and cavil are the same age so I'm curious. In the silver age comics where luthors origin story came out they were the same age. It was then we found out how superman was responsible for luthors baldness.

You never know with these types of movies. I remember when I heard Heath Ledger was cast as Joker I thought that movie was doomed. Turned out to be the best performance of his career, and I can't imagine anyone could have done a better job with it.
