Joe Namath

WTF

Everything - the coin toss, the jacket that looked like a live animal, the sleezy drunk Biden-ish grin

Train wreck

Well at least the ref took over and kept things from totally degenerating

Wouldn't be surprised if he was wearing some pantyhose under that outfit.

Wearing a fur coat drunk on the sidelines at 22 = rebel
Wearing a fur coat drunk on the sidelines at 70 = creepy

Re: Joe Namath

he looked pretty good to me. the attire is pure "broadway joe". that is just his personality and style/lackthereof.

the coin toss was a trip, I must say.

The ref did a good job of stepping in and seizing control of what could have turned into a cluster**** of a situation with the coin toss.

It's also worth noting that it was almost 50 degrees at kickoff. That heavy fur was hardly necessary, haha.

I think the ref messed up in the beginning by forgetting to ask the teams which side they picked...funny nevertheless

When the refs screwed it up during the Pittsburg game like 10 years ago.

I could have been more direct. I knew the answer to the question but my point in asking it was that broadway joe played his whole career with the flip being called in the air. It's not too surprising to think he would have not remembered the much more recent change in rules.

Love the jacket. Dude was definitely saying "F Peta"
