Bluetooth SpeakerS

OK. This is getting too stressful. lol I have been youtubing and reading about these creatures. Prob getting a Nexus 7 2nd generation which thanks to everyone for helping me with that.

Possible thghts-
SonyBTX300 only has one speaker and it can not be paired with anohter speaker.
Sony BTX 500 - love the sound but takes 8 'D' batteries so NO. can't pair. too heavy. 4-5 lbs each.
Ultimate Ears- daisy link TWO as L and R or as TWO speakers.

ANY OTHERS???

WANTS

Portable just incase

Stereo speakers

TWO or more speakers playing at the SAME time that can link to eachother without wires between the two speakers.

USB and adapter charge

NO wire between/connecting the 2 speakers

33-50 ft. wireless range

plug in additional aux

APTx decoding would be nice

Handle to carrying

Bluetooth

NFC

I bought my wife one from best buy. Can't remember the name of it but I think it was called "jax" or something like that. Just one little speaker but it does the job and only cost 50 bucks. Now if your looking for a system that will blow your ears off this one isn't it.

edit: oops just saw you want 2 speakers. nevermind.

Was going to report bad news to you about Bluetooth range is only 30 feet. Man technology crazy:P Out of College 4 years and the range extends from 30 to 300 feet. Let me clarify that for you. You have to make sure it supports up to 300 feet. From what I just read Class 1 is 300, feet Class 2 is 30, and Class 3 is 3 feet.

Thank you very much! I ended up with the Bose Soundlink III. We can hear it on 5 floors.

Do you have portable speakers already? I have 3 Bose Sounddocks and bought bluetooth receivers for them for around $12 each on ebay.

This one probably isn't quite as portable as you want and doesn't have a handle. I was looking for that stuff when I went shopping, too. Most of all, I wanted the best sound quality for and not spend $500. So, I spoke to a friend who is a DJ in Greenville and this is what he uses:

I put it up against similar Bose and Beats by Dre units and it sounded much better.

I have the Bluetooth 1 version and it hits hard. There is a downloadable app for iPhone and Android that has a equalizer for fine tuning and presets for specific genres.

I generally dislike Bluetooth speakers because none of them really sound great, and and I really dislike most Blose Products on principle, but this one is a pretty decent speaker.

One alternative for you, the JBL Charge. I have the charge 2+ that I really like, it will hold a charge for 12 hours, lets you charge your phone as you stream, can allow for more than one person connect to it at once, sounds pretty decent and costs a bit less.

Second for the JBL line. I have the Charge 3 and it's really nice. Battery lasts about 15 hours at half power or around 6-7 at max volume. It's fully waterproof up to several feet so it's great for the outdoors.

Re: Bluetooth SpeakerS

I bought this Anker Premium Stereo Bluetooth 4.0 Speaker (A3143), 20W Output from Dual 10W Drivers, with Two Passive Subwoofers

About a month ago, and really do not know if I can say I expected it to be as good as it is. I like Anker products, but have mainly purchased backup batteries of the brand. It has sound that, I feel, would be worth paying $150 for, and has the construction to feel in that price range as well. It is really easy to pair, and has an Aux port if needed.

Then I would strongly recommend the JBL Charge, it is rubberized and you can just throw it in your bag and go. Mine has survived tailgating beach trips cookouts etc.

Re: Bluetooth SpeakerS

The JBL Charge and Bose mini are phenomenal, but a little pricy. I have a monster superstar and I love the sound quality. It's inexpensive, splashproof and very small with big sound. It comes close to the sound of the others at a much lower cost. If you're willing to pay for the JBL or Bose, you will get your money's worth. I wasn't willing to pay, but I'm very happy with what I have...my wife even got me to order one for her to use at work. Interesting side note... We also have a JBL Pulse that I got really cheap when I used to run the electronics store, she loves that thing...all her girlfriends love the light show. I actually met a guy from the team that developed that product for JBL and he said their goal was to make it like a modern day lava lamp. Not sure if it fully meets that goal, but it does have nice sound and is a conversation starter when people see it.
