SEC Network, Premium Channel $ ?
Saw a thread on FGF that got me thinking about whether or not the SEC Network will be available to me as a DirecTV subscriber. As of right now, the only deal in place is with ATT-Uverse. I have no doubt that eventually a deal will be struck with all cable/satellite providers. I'm thinking that no matter if you have DirecTV, Dish, or whatever, that the SEC Network will be not be offered as a standard channel in the Southeast, but a premium channel, and in all other regions of the country it will be part of the provider's standard offering. Am I wrong in my speculation?

It is not official but it will be on Dish Network. The founder of Dish is a UT booster and has said as much.

Personally I'd be cool with that sort of DirecTv deal, but it would suck for y'all

I think it will be part of the Sports Pack similar to Sportsouth, etc

I have Verizon Fios up here.
Don't think I'll get getting it that soon. Not many care about college football. |

With TWC I pay $10/month for the sports pack. I get pac12, B1G, red zone, fox soccer plus and a lot of other channels. If SEC falls into this package them I'm cool with it.
