I have 2 samsung plasma Tvs and wanted to match brands with Blu ray players but Sony was by far the better player to the Samsung that I bought and returned. I don't have 3d on my television so I didn't get the 3d Blu ray but I bought the Sony 3100... It comes with wifi and Netflix on it. I love the Sony as it loads fast and haven't had one issue. Best Buy currently has it on sale for $30.00 off regular price.

I got an LG at the recommendation from a guy at Best Buy. Works great. Was ~$100. Has all the web apps built in (Pandora, Youtube, Netflix, etc) I don't use them often but it's come in handy a few times. My internet is slow in my house too, but if I move and can get faster speeds, I want to be able to take advantage of it

What is a used ps3 going for these days? Great blu-ray player, and the games hold up amazingly. You also get all your Internet apps such at Netflix...

Last one from Best Buy on ebay. I have this player and it is great. Sony sells them on Ebay from time to time as well. Just make sure you get one with WiFi built in like this one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sony-Smart-W...item2ecee6e5dd

When I was buying one a while back Panasonic was making the best blu ray players. That was like 5 years ago though so take it for what it's worth.
