Senior Night for Men's CBB Tomorrow vs UF

Brenton Williams will be honored, and Bruce Ellington I understand will also return and be honored as well. Classy move to include him by Coach Martin and USC, although it's not all that hard to conceive, as Bruce leaving for the NFL wasn't exactly on bad terms, and he meant so much to the BB program the past 3-4 seasons.

Also Carlton Geathers will be honored as well, and as has been predicted for a while, will not be returning next year. He has 1 more yr of playing eligibility left, but has already earned his degree. Opens up another sholarship for next year's class....

Will be sad to see Brenton go, I sure hope the team can continue to improve without him.

I don't think I've ever seen it referred to as Men's CBB

I hope we have 15K+ tomorrow night to spur us to a big victory over number 1.

If we can somehow play close with Florida to the very end, or even win it, then I will be ready to say we are finally improving as a whole.

Listening to talk radio here, the Gator fans have already put it in the win column.

As well they should. A #1 team needs swagger and should be confident. A #1 should not fear a rebuilding team like S Car on the road.

They should feel extremely confident. This is a much better team than Kentucky.

Yep, and an entirely different circumstance than with UK. The Wildcats are predominantly a talented but youthful team that struggles to play cohesively as a team and to play consistent team defense. Florida on the other hand is more of an experienced group of veterans who have been coached to play as a team and play physical defense as well as offense. They won't wilt and pout like UK did....

Special shout out to Brenton, I have enjoyed watching you play. My favorite player this year. The guy can score, and when's the last time we had a guy that could shoot free throws like him? Brenton, thanks for being a Gamecock! You will be missed.

I would bring Brenton back next year just to teach free throw shooting. From the stripe, he has about as pure a stroke as I have ever seen.

I'm confident he'll be playing pro ball somewhere next year.
