Myrtle Beach Restaurant's

My wife and I are staying in north Myrtle for a few days. Looking for some nice restaurants to try, any suggestions would be great! We normally have our kids and are looking for something outside the normal seafood buffet.
Thanks

Flynns Irish tavern (main street nmb) is pretty good, laid back and relaxed atmosphere, ok to take kids also

When you say nice, do you mean like upscale romantic dinner like nice? Or just something "non chain" that's good food?

Thanks, it is fine if the place is not in n. myrtle. New York Prime was highly recommended. Anyone have good or bad experiences there?

Any of the above really. We have several nights/days to fill. :)

Miyabi kyoto on 17 in the restruant row area of nmb if you like Japanese food, it's one of those where the food is prepared fresh in front of you.

Have heard good things about the parsons table in little river, but it's more upscale and not something I would consider "kid friendly"

It's a chain, but if you want a little bit different experience, you should check out Rioz. I think the only location they have is right across from Broadway, so it's not actually in NMB. It's a little pricy, though. My wife and I went a couple of years ago, and it was about $125 for the two of us, and we don't drink alcohol.

the best steak I have ever had from a restaurant was the ribeye from Tbonz. The one on seaboard street not the one at Barefoot Landing. Just throwing that out there

Drunken Jacks in Murrell's Inlet is pretty good and there is a walk along the waterway there with bars, restaurants, and shops along it. It is a little bit of a drive but if you are going to be down near Broadway At the Beach, it is near that.

Joes bar and grill, 48th ave S. NMB. low key, quiet, good soft atmosphere overlooking the inlet
