Music heard in Movies

What are noteworthy pieces of music you have heard in movies you have seen?

What do you mean by noteworthy? Critically acclaimed or popular or something I like or what?

Not really noteworthy, but the version of "Roads Untraveled" by Linkin Park in Need For Speed is incredible. It fit the scene and the mood perfectly, and immediately stuck with me after only hearing it once. Never underestimate barebones piano and vocal tracks.... well, intro at least.

Mama Rock Me (Bob Dylan) This is a song Bob Recorded while filming
Pat Garrett & Billy The Kid. It wasn't recorded on any of Dylan's studio
albums, but later was used By Old Crow Medicine Show as a chorus to
Wagon Wheel.

How do you allow a scene with a cowboy running like a girl for 5 minutes to make it into a western? That's embarrassing.

I'll nominate another Vangelis score for Chariots of Fire. One of the few actual musical scores that I have actually bought.

Two others that are extremely evocative:
The theme for Halloween by John Carpenter
Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield used in The Exorcist

I am not sure how noteworthy but the soundtrack did better than the move.

Vangelis was fantastic in several movies like 'The Warriors', 'Chariots of Fire' and 'Risky Business'.
