He isn't a priority for the Buckeyes, yet.

The due diligence of Coach Mangus should help pull him away from OSU if/when they make him a priority.

He's certainly confident. A little too much imo, like hurdling a defender just to get hit in the knees and still go out of bounds. His skills are really good though, even on the run his passes were on point, and he certainly has wheels.

I agree.
Talent is there...fundamentals need A LOT OF WORK, but right now he can get away with it.

Re: 2015 - Lorenzo Nunez

He definitely doesn't like staying in the pocket for too long, and he used his speed to beat a lot of defenders. Like that one play near the end of the video where he runs right up the middle past like 3 defenders. That most likely won't happen in college. He'd get clobbered on a run like that. But obviously very talented.

He's supposed to be visiting before his spring practice gets started

Agreed.
You still have to weigh the option does the player really want to be taught..is he coachable.

Guy has talent, not knocking him, but I'm wondering if he has the mental makeup to go through Spurrier's coaching (and GA) and can he be taught?

Just things to weigh I guess.

I do have to wonder...why we recruit this guy as a QB but not Kelly Bryant...yes, Nunez is probably more athletic than Bryant, but as a QB, I see them both at the same stage of development.

Early on, Nunez struggled with ball placement. He would not set his feet, and as such his accuracy, as well as velocity, suffered. But as the day progressed, Nunez started heating up, flashing some of the tantalizing upside that has several schools vying for his services. A natural passer, Nunez throws equally well in the pocket and when rolling out.

Answered your own question, maybe? Equivalent as passers, but the one is a better athlete. I'm not making a judgment on Bryant or Nunez, but this does seem pretty self-explanatory to me.

USC likes Bryant as a WR/DB. He wants to play QB.

Need to make a move this weekend. It's good that he's coming to the spring game-hopefully he comes away impressed.

Little worried about how soon he wants to commit. Lets hope we make a big impression. Little annoyed hes been to clemsin three times. They already have one qb commit though.
