Watson injured

Watson out with a cracked collarbone. This kid better put on some weight if he plans on playing D1 college football injury free.

I guess that's what happens when your coach lets the QBs take hits in the spring. "Under fire" he calls it lol

Hope for a good speedy recovery.

Maybe should wear pads at his practices.

Re: Watsons injured

I revised the title to "Watsons". Their defensive back Watson, a RSr also went out. He went out with a knee injury.

I did not realize how tall Deshaun Watson is. 6' 3" is a nice height for a QB. That boy will easily get tossed around unless he puts on considerable weight though.

He's going to be a good one eventually, tough break for the guy. Hate to see a player hurt.

why was he put in a situation in the spring where something like this would happen?

Re: Watson injured

is it his throwing shoulder?

and I wasn't really expecting to see him get any PT other than garbage duty anyway is 2014. Hopefully (for him) they don't pull a Willy Korn on him and further damage him to the point of no return.

Interesting that your signature has the play where the cheezehead QB got his collar bone, boned.

Yep, it sounds like they won the national championship with 3 NFL QBs during the first scrimmage of the year. Awesome dude!!!

Re: Watson injured

Not a major injury and not a major surprise. The kid needs to put on serious weight and get in the weight room before getting any type of PT-in scrimmages or games. Currently he's a stick so if they want to keep exposing him to hits, he'll get crushed. Probably should redshirt.

As I said in the smack forum, the fact that Chode is calling them out is pretty interesting... to say the least

Re: Watson injured

I don't see it as a bad thing going live for Clemson since they are a "question mark" at QB - at best.

I know the ACC is a step above powderpuff but still.....in order to see what that kid has you got to see what he can do with guys coming at him want to lay him out - not 2 hand touch him.

In the world of Dabo's questionable actions.....and for a kid that likely wasn't/isn't to be a starter.....I don't see anything wrong with this.
