Korean ship carrying students sinks

This is a huge story over here and around the world. Prayers would be appreciated for the families. I know the title is misleading. The freaking news, both Korean and CNN are beyond inaccurate and have been all day. The story and numbers keep changing. However, at least three are dead, though its being reported hundreds could be missing. A high school was taking a trip to a nice island here called Jeju. It hit some rocks began to sink, to which everyone had to jump off. The water is very very cold, there werent enough jackets and I am guessing some people couldnt swim.

Man, the stories I have read in this area. Not necessarily Jeju but the standards of these shipping companies are AWFUL!! I know someone who was shipwrecked in a very similar story to a different destination. This happens more than you think.

Isn't Jeju the islands southwest of the peninsula?
