I hope I attached the picture correctly.

I need help calculating the acreage on the plot of land in the attached picture (if it is attached).

Thanks in advance.

Hmmm, my old surveyor days are long gone, but I'll see what I can do. I'll at least forward it to a friend and see if he can calculate it.

Is there a curve chart on that plat? Like maybe something that shows the radius of the curve?

Thanks Jeff! Sorry, no curve chart.

Re: HELP calculating acreage

Did you scan or copy that from a larger plat, or is that all you have? You may have to pull the subdivision plat from the courthouse if all the information isn't on it.

If you don't have an answer by Monday I can help. Looks like somewhere close to an acre though.

Re: HELP calculating acreage

Looks like a 1/4 circle.

area of circle = pie R^2
Radius is 262 ft
A= 3.14 * 262^2
A= 215,525 sqft

divide by 4 because it looks like a 1/4 circle

A= 53,900 sqft or 1.24 acres.

This includes the 60' setback (road?)

Re: HELP calculating acreage

Taking out the setback is .74 acres.
