ESPN Article on HBC on one on Dabo

Lots of press for SC football:

http://espn.go.com/blog/acc/post/_/i...steve-spurrier

Dabo story is really about HBC though

Got to love this quote from Clemson WR Adam Humphries in the Dabo article. They really do believe they are beating themselves.

“You can’t get away from it in this state. Each year, we feel like we have the better team, but we just slip up with turnovers and a few plays here and there that cost you ballgames.”

Dabo on last year's 31-17 beat down.
Quote:

“I go back and look at that game and examine how did we physically play, and to be honest with you, if you just graded it out, we won in every phase of the game,” Swinney said. “We lost on the scoreboard. We outrushed them, outpassed them, outdefended them. We did everything.

Apparently Dabo and Clemson felt so sorry for SC that they kept giving the ball to SC out of pity.

Despite the turnovers their offense was better than ours? And despite our takeaways, their defense was better than ours?

This makes absolutely zero sense. Why don't they put their big boy pants on, man up, and say you got beat?

I'd be sick to my stomach if one of our guys make excuses, it just looks bad and childish. I know Spurrier doesn't sugarcoat anything, that's for damn sure.

He’s been that way his entire career whether you like him or don’t like him. Sometimes you wish he’d just let the focus stay on the players and the game and maybe not keep it stirred up.
dabo wishes SOS would stop pointing out to his fanbase that he keeps losing to us

With the exception of Clowney, the teams are fairly even talenwise, with a possible edge to Clemson. We just out coach them every year on both sides of the ball.

Carolina 140 Yards Rushing to Clemson's 127 Yards Rushing

Either that upstate team has a dishonest coach or his memory can't be trusted.

IN A NUTSHELL
ONE: A legend in his own mind.
THE OTHER: A legend in his own time.
FIVE IN A ROW: Enough to tell you which one is which.

Another thing to note and something Dabo needs to take a LONG hard look at. Gamecocks held the ball for almost 40 minutes!!!!!!!

The other team just wiped the floor with you, held on to the ball, and did whatever they wanted. Total yards doesn't mean much when you run only 57 plays (one of their lowest number of plays on the season) and hold the ball for only 20 minutes.

Gamecocks didn't get a lot of yards because they didn't need it. They dominated Clemson when they had the ball and played keep away. Funny thing is Dabo hasn't noticed that this has happened for a number of years against that high octane Clemson offense - they don't have the ball very often and score one of their lowest point totals in a game against us almost every year.

The difference in the game was the missed false start on 4th and 1 inside your own 50. The game was tied at that point. We get the ball back there we may win the game even with the TO's.

And if frogs had wings they wouldn't bump their asses when they hop.

What if we stopped Clem5ux on one of those third downs that lead to a Clem5ux touch down? That would mean we beat your ass worse! Freaking tater retards only think plays could change in their favor.

Candy and nuts dude. Candy and nuts.

That may be true. Football always hinges on a combination of mistakes. Rarely does one play determine the outcome, but that is not to say that one play can't determine the outcome. Auburn has surely shown us that. In hind sight, Clemson has never been as close to winning the last five as they may think they have. Then again "close" times 5, equals as good, but unlucky, or not really "as good", but close............
You decide !

Nah, the difference in the game was 14. You know, 14, for Connor Shaw and the number of points you lost by. Do ya'll still do that thing where you count how many total points all of your losses amount to?

I hope he really believes that. The beatings will continue as long as they live in denial. Seriously delusional.

I hope you believe this. If so, number 6 should be easier than I thought.
