I hope he doesn't go to NE, but if he does, I will root for him, as much as I cannot stand the Patriots.

Shaw may be considered a "project". But he will be a starter

I agree, the NFL is changing, and at a fast pace. They need QBs like Connor Shaw, because he is a winner. You will not find a Luck/Manning every draft.

His biggest strength moving forward is his lack of mental mistakes with the football, which is something he improved on in his career.
In other words....smart. Just hope we get to see him reach his peak.

Another article I read said that multiple teams have graded him as a 3rd round pick and one NFC West team as 2nd round.

Brady can't play forever and Belicheck has been known to adjust his offense to fit the players he has (successfully, I might add). Brady will be 37 by the start of the year. He probably has 3 years or so left. Shaw can sit behind him and study one of the best QBs ever while he develops. Shaw is 22. if Brady plays 3 years he will start his career at 25. Thats a very similar career path to Rodgers. Sits behind one of the best QBs ever for three years, begins his career as a starter at 24.

I know everyone hates the idea, but for Connor's sake, he would be a GREAT fit in New England. He fits the mentality there, and he is the exact mold of Tom Brady, pretty much overlooked, but a winner, and tough as nails.

what do you think is the biggest difference between Shaw and Manziel. why is Manziel a first round pick and Shaw a late round pick.

Manziel is freaky...without going into details, watch his film.
