Clemson's Kryptonite: Steve Spurrier?

The Ol' Ball Coach has hammered Dabo Swinney five consecutive seasons... this could be a tough year, because I think losing Shaw/Clowney is bigger than Boyd/Watkins. But one of the underrated reasons for our consistency and high win totals under Spurrier is the domination of Clemson.

Hope it continues in '14... what did Tommy Tuberville say at Auburn.... fear the thumb?

I honestly believe if Clemson decided to run the ball more in the way Auburn does, they'd have a better chance against us. Maybe they feel they aren't physical enough.

I am leaning more toward the opinion that one of the underrated reasons for Spurrier's domination of Clemson is the Gamecocks consistency and high win totals.

but all of that is the result of higher skilled players, better coaching, better facilities and believe we can win those games

Eh, I can't agree with that. Sure, Shaw and Clowney were game changers, but they weren't their side of the ball's only option. Clemson was very heavy on Boyd -> Watkins the last few years. Their offense will struggle more than ours.

But according to Mr. Lattimore (the poster) Auburn's offense is a fluke. Auburn's really not that good, people will finally figure out Malzahn's offense after nine years, and SC will have no problem with Auburn.Sarcasm

Head so thick were I to drop a brick on top of it, the bat would bounce as high as a rubber ball hitting hard cement.

Will they ever learn we don't give a $hit about Bama & Burn on a Gamecock site??

Don't think so, but their heads may be solid bone...LOL. Where's my tuning fork?? Let's find out.
