Buckeyes are some of the tastiest things I've ever had.
And you can't go wrong with boiled peanuts.

Chips and salsa for Texas? How dreaming boring. They should have picked kolaches.

Yes, but not as a snack. You can grab a kolache while on the go and it is easy to eat... and delicious.

Kolaches are definitely big in Houston but not in San Antonio.
Texas is so big, they could have broke it down by region.

What is Kolache?

A kolache is sweet, soft bread wrapped around a link of sausage. It often comes served with jalapenos and cheese from a doughnut shop.

I have to disagree with New Mexico, the state snack has to somehow incorporate green chile. Maybe a green chile quesadilla.

West Virginia however is spot on. The pepperoni roll, don't understand how these haven't caught on everywhere else. Pop one of those babies in the microwave for 10 seconds, boom.
