Brendan Langley (UGA) moving to WR

Quote:

Georgia's secondary continues to get thinner.
Sophomore defensive back Brendan Langley will move to receiver for the start of preseason camp, Bulldogs coach Mark Richt said Monday. The 6-foot-1, 181-pounder from Marietta started the first four games at cornerback last season but played more safety this spring under new defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt.

Shaw abused him last year. Loved it.

Sounds like he can't find a home at defensive back and probably won't see the field much this season.

You just have to shake your head at Wiggins, Langley, and Terry.

Wiggins and Langley would probably be entrenched as starters at Corner this season for USC. Terry would probably be in our WR rotation backing up Byrd or Cooper.

Exactly what I was thinking. The grass WAS greener on the other side :football:

I hope that some of our targets pay attention to this kind of stuff. Wiggins, Terry, and Langley seriously goofed in going to UGA.

UGA has some issues, I just can't believe it hasn't caught up to them yet.

Terry moved to DB as well.

Didn't Wiggins leave the team

In other news, redshirt freshman WR Uriah Lemay is transferring. Maybe that's what prompted the switch, idk

Re: Brendan Langley (UGA) moving to WR

Looking at UGA's depth chart, their offense looks pretty Senior heavy, esp. at WR. This may be a move for the future. Good news for UGA is they have a lot of SRs, but bad news is in 2015 they will potentially have to replace a QB, a good many WR's and maybe Gurley if he decides to make the jump.

BUt then again, it's Georgia and they don't stop recruiting.

apparently Pruitt is a totally different kind of coach and he rubbed a bunch of these guys the wrong way......not connecting well. Good chance Wiggins to Louisville.....that's where Grantham ended up.

Just curious but if they are not good enough to start for uga what makes you think they would start for us?

Terry to offense? Wow! I thought he was supposed to be an offensive playmaker

I know Wiggins was never committed here, and for that matter neither was Terry, but he was an in-state guy, but it makes you wonder how those three got away.
