By looking at this I would have to agree, but they have the burden of getting everyone's best game. Nobody fails to get up to play Bama. Now saying that I will say this they have been lucky the past 3 years with scheduling. I would take their rings over this stat any day though.

We're Tennessee's only victory over top 25 and Auburn's only win over a top ten not counting the two they picked up last season.

How times have changed. I remember when beating ONE ranked team meant the world now we expect to win Top 25 games.

No kidding. I remember when winning 6 was a big deal. Much less not getting blown away in a game was a win.

What is more "alarming" is how poor the overall records are for the all powerful SEC. I mean, only 3 teams with a winning record? Would have never guess that. Having typed that, I bet other conferences far much worse. Good post.

When you consistently have 6 teams ranked in the top 25 then there are losses that are automatically built into your schedule. Those account for most of the bottom half losses.

Don't forget there is a lot of ranked teams playing ranked teams LSU, Bama, Auburn, aTm, USC etc had losses to ranked SEC teams when they were ranked.
