Indianapolis 500

Anybody watching?
I never missed it when I was a kid but haven't really watched in years. I'm hoping Graham Rahal or Tony Kaanan win. They seem like good guys.

Like you, I never use to miss it. Lost touch with it over the years, and Danica never drew me to watch. Like to see Kurt hang in there. He was my last driver in NASCAR when he drove for Penske. Don't have a driver now since all my guys have gone away.

Apparently I'm a jinx. Kaanan and Rahal in 32nd and 33rd place. Busch not doing so well either.

Re: Indianapolis 500

Kanaan is my fave but not a good day. Danica was my other fave but she went to Nascar. I was lucky enough in 2010 to go to indy for the opening practice and get half of the drivers signatures. I've been to a nascar race at charlotte and it seriously doesn't compare. In person the indy cars are amazing and I'm hoping one year very soon I can go back for the Indy 500. Today since TK has no shot I guess I'll pull for Helio to get 4 or Andretti to break the curse or for the 19yr old rookie to do the unthinkable!

Red flag. Should be a fun restart. Helio is in second place.

That was fun. Second closest race ever. 0.6 seconds.

I'm not an IndyCar fan, but that was a great finish. Maybe I'll start to watch IndyCar racing more after that.

Why can't you accept that both are good and let it go at that?

Let's see what happens when that Nascar bumps that Indy car. Ewwwww. Not so pretty.

Side note, I've never been to an "Indy" race but I did go to the Grand Prix de Monaco in 2005.
