If anyone has watched any of the feed, do they have audio? I don't....

Re: USA Basketball U18
No audio for me either. For those not watching, USA is up 47-24 at half. Aja has 9 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block.

Re: USA Basketball U18
USA wins 104-55. Mexico just had no answer to our inside game. Aja finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block.

Re: USA Basketball U18
USA wins convincingly 104-55. Wilson was 7-10 shooting for 15 points, with 10 rebounds to lead the team, and 1 blocked shot.....

Re: USA Basketball U18
Another mismatch as USA tops El Salvadore 118-50 . USA had 8 players in double figures . A'ja Wilson had 16 points and 8 rebounds in a little over 17 minutes . Destinee Walker led scoring with 18 and was 4-for-4 on 3-pointers . Canada is next , and should be a little better competition .

Re: USA Basketball U18
USA is now in the gold medal game tomorrow night at 7:30 pm after routing Argentina 97-51. A'ja lead all players with 23 points on 10-11 shooting, 9 rebounds and 4 blocked shots...
The Big Three players on the USA team have shown to be Wilson, Brianna Turner (Notre Dame), and Napheesa Collier (Connecticut). A'ja is currently USA's leading scorer through 4 games with 17.5 ppg (Turner at 14.0 ppg, Collier at 13.0 ppg), and it's 2nd-leading rebounder at 7.8 rpg (Collier at 9.2 rpg, Turner at 5.8 rpg). Wilson is also leading the team in blocked shots (1.7 bpg). Both Collier (84 min.) and Turner (79 min.) have played more minutes than Wilson (72 min.). Wilson has shot 30-38 (78.9%) through 4 games thus far, compared to Turner at 22-34 (64.7%) and Collier at 24-39 (61.5%)... The previous game versus Canada that was yesterday, USA pulled away late in the 1st half, and continued in the 2nd half to win 107-76. Unlike the other Hispanic teams, Canada was able to match the US girls with height, and were deadly perimeter shooters. The game with the Canadians was much more competitive and physical than any of the others, who seemed to step aside for the bigger Americans. Now USA will again take on Canada tomorrow night for the gold medal. Canada advanced earlier today by beating Brazil 67-60... |
