That was fast. Pretty telling stuff that he's announcing so soon after the offer.

And Auburn leads, but with no offer. :/

Seems kind of like a tweener right now between DE and LB. I'm not so sure he'd be able to get off blocks so easily on the college level but the coaches must see something in him. He reminds me a little of Michael Sam.

Very curious, based on who we have committed so far, and the juco's coming in. Maybe transition to OLB?

Here is his film.

After watching, reminds me of Aldrick Fordham...could move to LB, just depends on his hips and ability to read a play

6'4 228 .. I don't forsee linebacker in his future pending scheme change.

At that size no...but like I said, depending on how quick he is, could be a big run-stuffer....but that wouldn't fit our recent trend of LBs either.

Could this also a be sign the staff isn't confident in getting a guy like Marquavius Lewis?

8 CB picks to us in the past two days.

I'm still just curious how this has swung so fast.
It isn't usual to pull a kid who favors Auburn out of the shadow of Auburn in Opelika...I know the Tigers haven't offered this kid yet..and before the last two days, CBs were all to Auburn for this kid.

Maybe visiting to Columbia really sold this kid.

May be one of those deals where the kid got a good offer and wanted to reserve a spot while hoping to still land the Auburn offer later and switching then if it comes.

Well if Ward decides he want's to move to 3-4 full time then he could play OLB at that size but I'm not one of the people that think we will switch to it full time at any point.
