Texas A&M Dismiss Two Key Defensive Players

Quote:

Chris Clark ‏@GCChrisClark 2m Texas A&M dismisses last season's leading tackler, LB Darian Claiborne as well as DL Isaiah Golden (started six games in 2013).
That can't help them figure out their defensive issues for 2014.....

From the little I have been reading about their defense, it seems they are putting a lot of faith in Myles Garrett.

Yeah....speaking of which:

@SethEmerson Safety Tray Matthews has tweeted that he's leaving Georgia. Will update.
FS that started half the season for UGA last season amidst injury issues. UGA's secondary for 2014 may predominantly involve former WR recruit Tramel Terry and former RB recruit JJ Green....

UPDATE: Safety Tray Matthews was DISMISSED from #UGA. "We are trying to make room for guys who want to do things right" - Mark Richt

Two less starters on their D to worry about. Not that we really needed to worry to begin with.

I hope UGA pummels clempson and loses about 5 games after that.

Update:

Looks like Auburn won't be able to rely on a tipped miracle this season, both UGA defenders involved on the play have been dismissed.

A coincidence I am sure.

Garrett is going to be a very very special player, but I think it says a lot about a defense when you're putting a lot of faith in a true freshman.

On the good news side, looks like Auburn may be stocking up it's QB depth in the future....

In what could hardly be called unpredictable, ESPN College Football just tweeted that Matthews is eyeing Auburn.

It's like you knew.

Just hope our players keep themselves from any bad situations this summer...

UGA is cleaning house. It may hurt them short turn, but their defense is going to be stout in the next few years.

I'd like for that to happen but we are never really sharp and clicking on offense in the 1st game

I hope Corey Robinson gives him a VERY, VERY warm welcome to the SEC...

I think so...or this could be the beginning of the end for Mark Richt.

If Georgia has another 8 or 9 win season along with all these players in trouble, then it will. Richt is a solid coach but you can't have a successful program when players are getting suspended/expelled every summer
