Article: SEC players who could be household names by the end of '14

Quote:

5- Pharoh Cooper, WR, South Carolina: Cooper was somewhat unheralded coming out of Havelock (N.C.) High in the 2013 cycle, but then he became the Gamecocks‘ kick returner, wildcat quarterback, a dependable receiver in the rotation and got a lot better as the season progressed (he may have been the second-best offensive player in the Gamecocks‘ win against Clemson at the end of the year- behind quarterback Connor Shaw). With the departure of top receiver Bruce Ellington, that means more opportunity in the passing game for the 2013 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas MVP and 247Sports True Freshman All-American. Plus, he’s got a cool name.
