How soccer really works:

Part 1. "And he's making a run at it! He's going to have a clean shot!"
Part 2. "And here comes the corner/goal kick."

OR Part 1 followed by 2a. "And now going the other direction..." OR 2b. "And he's down."

I absolutely admire the endurance and athletic ability of soccer players, but the sport is often too much like the Blair Witch Project of sports. It seems like something is about to happen, but it almost never does. Then there's the part where a player goes down seemingly because a large mosquito has flown by. I have tried over and over to get into it, but it just seems impossible for me.
