question for those from the Greenville/upstate area...

I hope this isn't the wrong forum. I didn't put this in cockyswap because I'm not necessarily asking to buy something from someone on here.

Anyways, my girlfriend will be moving down to sc from NY in July to teach at Daniel highschool. She will need to leave somewhere near the Greenville/central/ easley area. I'm looking for advice on apartments or areas I may want to avoid or check out. I don't want her to be stuck in a bad area or having to overpay. She just needs something simple for her and her dog.

Any suggestions?

My brother is in the process of moving back to Newberry from Central, his place up there was within ear shot of Daniel High.

Was it an apartment or house? And did he have high opinions of the area?

Sorry, it is a house. I don't think he liked the area, hence why he is moving. People speed up and down the road, its on Madden Bridge Road, and there is a lot of traffic with Daniel high being on one side and some middle school being on the other.
