It was awesome to see all those again. We have really been blessed by truly amazing athletes and coaching over the last 10 years.

True but what if very best is yet to come?

I like your optimism and agree. The best is yet to come!

I was just thinking... how many home games have we lost with Spurrier as coach?

That video of Lattimore running through and around UF's defense was an absolute thing of beauty. Still remember watching that game on my couch and being so excited I couldn't sleep that night.

Blake Mitchell vs Houston and Chris Smelley vs Ole Miss should be on there IMO

Despite three INT's, two of which were bogus, Blake's performance against Clemson in 2006 was pretty great too. He ripped Clemson's secondary that day. 23-36 for 268.

melvin ingram vs uga, and smelley vs ole miss would be on my top 10 for sure. Possible kenny miles vs clemson too

garcia vs east carolina(not statistically, but for leadership and rallying his team) and sidney rice vs fau(not a big game i know but 5 receiving tds is crazy) would be honorable mentions for me

That was awesome! Thanks for sharing!

I was watching the Garcia/Alabama game at the oceanfront bar at the beach with some of my Gamecock friends and we were all absolutely in shock that not only winning against Alabama, but stomping them!

Great review!

Dylan vs Clemson 2012 should be a consideration too. Absotuely tore apart the Tigers that night

I looked it up. Only 14.

We have only seen 14 loses at Williams Brice since 2005. Let that sink in... wow.

2005: Alabama, Clemson
2006: Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee, Arkansas
2007: Vandy, Florida, Clemson
2008: Georgia, LSU
2009: Florida
2010: Arkansas
2011: Auburn

I still put Connor against Missouri #1....hard to top that given the circumstances.

But not ahead of Connor Shaw v. UK in '11 or Mizzou in '12. His stats for both games are comparable factoring in rushing, but the win over UK was huge considering the upheaval of that week and throwing for 20 straight completions v. Mizzou is legendary, not to mention no INTs.

Connor got SEC OPOW for both of those games....pretty sure Chris got the same for his game v. Ole Miss in '08. Not sure about Blake.
Needless to say, I'm sure Mizzou fans are glad Connor's gone.

I could've sworn after the Ole Miss game that Chris Smelley was on his way to being big time. He was phenomenal that day. He even started out strong the following week against Kentucky until he lost it and was pulled for Garcia.

We also thought Barnes would be a great player after that Ole Miss game.
