Jet ski question

I winterized my ski the fall before last, and I didn't ride it last summer, what should I do to ride it this summer? Drain the leftover gas? I know they put gas stabalizer in it but not sure about what else to do. Anybody know?
Thanks

2-stroke? If so, drain it, put in new gas and have a blast!

My stepson got a Sea-Doo RXP-X 260. I haven't been on it yet, but I will be soon.

One of many Bobo tales...

I used to have a Yamaha GP1200r. Being with my skydiving buddies, we regularly used it to pull parasailers. It would do 63 and, for a time, was the fastest boat on Bowen. Bobo used to hang around the bridge and main ramp to make sure people had their whistle and fire extinguisher and once as I passed through, headed toward I-26, I saw him coming.

I pretended not to see him.

Off I went, full tilt, making big sweeping S-turns and doing everything by the law. I ended up making a bunch of switchbacks, etc. so I pulled away from him. He had that twin-engine job that would do 60, too, but he fell back because he couldn't anticipate what I was going to do. As I trolled under I-26, I could hear his siren but he didn't catch up by the time I reached the south side. I ran all the way into the lily pond, where his boat couldn't go.

Anyway, I finally came out and he was covered in sweat and letting me have it. He tried to ticket me but I protested, claiming I didn't hear him. Since I wasn't pulling a skier, I told him my eyes belonged to the front. The best part was his young partner sheepishly agreed with me.

Old Bobo was spitting mad. Like Barney Fife, he made me show my whistle and fire extinguisher anyway. After we both went back under I-26, I went roaring past him with a big grin on my face.

I miss Bobo.
