Capital One Bowl Replay

Didn't see a thread.

Currently airing on ESPNU for those interested.

Came here to post this as well. Thank you for posting it! Mike Davis just took the ball out of the shotgun and made a first down for a gain of like 10 yards when it should have been a two yard gain. His ability to shift gears so quickly is remarkable for a back his size.

Re: Capital One Bowl Replay

I decided to watch a few minutes of it.

One observation I've made from watching replays that I feel has contributed to recent our success has been our repeated ability to defend fakes on 4th down. Our special teams have been pretty weak, but that is one thing we've done right over the last few seasons.

I just remember us getting burned on that so much, and then, it's like something finally clicked with us. "Hey, this happens to us a ridiculous amount, maybe we should concede the chance for a block and avoid giving up a TD or a 1st down."

I don't know. That's my perception anyway. I can't remember the last time we were burned in recent memory, but I can remember multiple times that we've stopped a fake. Each time it was critical.

Don't sleep on Dylan T. He will be ready if we need him I bet.

I'm telling you, I have a good feeling about this one. I think we can pull it out by 2 scores.

Great to see some USC football even if it is a replay

TJ Holloman is so underrated at times. Kid can play LB. Two big hits in the run game on this drive for Wisconsin.

Plus, there's that interception he had the game before this one that sealed the win against a particular team.

One of the best games of the year. It was even better to be there in person (despite the crappy weather)

Watch this game on youtube the other day, 3 things that I realized while rewatching.

1)John Gruden is the man and I enjoy his commentarty.
2)That 4th down spot could be the most questionable call/spot/officiating I've seen in a game.
3)Thank the lord for that horrible spot because It not only gave us 6 months of being #1 on SportsCenter but also the type of publicity that money can't buy.

None of that happened in the Capital One Bowl.

I thought this was the Wisky game replay not the Michigan...
