USC Sports Team medical coverage

Reading something like the below, makes you wonder (with the Clowney foot/hernia lingering problems, etc...). May be nothing to it...

Would appreciate Doc's insight.

Im not sure what infections have to do with Clowney's problems. Players don't use University clinics for injuries anyways.

University Ortho (Sports Med) are the team physicians for all sports teams. They manage all athlete injuries from my understanding. I know that Clowney didn't have an infection; just seemed to have some injuries that some have felt were possibly mismanaged. Just curious what others thought.

The article did not give much actual information. I really do not see how a few infections from injections are related to how Clowney or any other athlete was treated by the doctors.
