That was how I felt about the old basketball court from the Coliseum. It was in Blatt for a while.

By comparison to other projects this one is relatively minor but will be a very nice upgrade, particularly when you combine it with everything else.

Everything is finally coming together. Hopefully in a few years they begin to remodel and upgrade the interior of the stadium, but that's another discussion for another thread.

That much garnet looks a little out of place to me.

I don't dislike it, but it is kind of like putting lipstick on a pig. That entire elevator shaft area is ugly and wish we would do something to spruce it up or cover up some of it. Like hang some banners or something in those empty spaces. Right under the sign does not bother me near as much a the supports on the sides, cover those things up.

I think it would be cool to hang banners of some of the greats (Rogers, Lattimore, Clowney, etc)

Really that entire side of the stadium is too plain. They should paint some of it Garnet and hang more banners from the top of stands and then do something at the bottom by the entrances. That is why the garnet looks out of place because it is otherwise just to plain on that side. Give me something to look at besides water-stained concrete.

The plaza going around the stadium will probably make that side look much nicer. Hopefully the banner they're talking about hanging below the new sign makes it look nicer too.

You could spell GAMECOCKS across there on banners, assuming a block C was on the middle part under the new sign. I think I would prefer a block C on there permanently.
