Voted for VEHICLE in this poll

Really Good Song. Was at the time that, that sort of music was
really popular too. Chicago, Blood Sweat and Tears kind of groove
there.

This was the toughest vote for me. Vehicle and Melt With You were both in my lists. I went with Melt With You just because Valley Girl and Nick Cage. That's how I make all my tough decisions. What Would Young Nick Cage Do? I usually end up in Mexico.

Also, that Ides of March album is worth a listen just for the insane cover of Eleanor Rigby.

Going with Twisted Sister because when they do occasionally get back to get together to do a show or whatever, it's the same 4 guys from 30 years ago, and how many bands can claim that  ?

Voted the same way. Great groups and very good music back in the day. I think that the same guy that helped manage "Chicago, BST" also back in the sixties managed the "The Buckinghams" which was another great Chicago area band like the other two mentioned bands. Only Chicago managed to hang around for many years and I think they still get together and play a few concerts today.

That might be a good thread by coming up with bands that have stayed together for 10 years or more. Not many have done that and still stayed on top of their game. Most fail badly at reunions.

As far as Billboard Hot 100 top 40, Ratt did, Twisted Sister did not.

Also "I Melt With You" only hit #76 so it doesn't qualify on the Hot 100 criteria, but Spurt did give a contingency rule on hitting the Top 40 in other charts and I'm sure it did on Rock chart or some such.

"I Want to Rock" hit 35 on Billboard's Top Tracks so, it's close.

I concur and voted Melt. I was a teen in the eighties so it kind of resonates with me, however, I think Vehicle is the better song in retrospect.
