I did a week back in 2001. A girl I was dating took me to jazz fest and we stayed with her mom in NO.

My bachelor party was there in 08. I think we did a 4 day run.

I've done a few other jazz fests that were 3-4 days as well.

I love that city.

It can be fun. There really is nothing like it. But it really takes a lot out of you

Also it's unfair to be here for any business purpose at all, because you want to be out there doing stuff

No doubt, I was building a pen for my pitbulls this weekend and almost passed out from heat exhaustion. I need to get my ass in shape.:-|

Re: I'm in New Orleans

Yeah I have been there twice for personal, and probably a dozen for business. Managed a business trip during Mardi Gras one year too. There are perks to being there for business. I found that no one worked really hard anyway, so it was ok to be hungover. But it also smells and is kinda dirty. Hence I could only take 3 days

My only New Orleans experience was earlier this year for a bachelor party. We got rocked by New Orleans. Fun place though... Watch out for Rick's Cabaret on Bourbon St. It's dangerous.
