"Air Ball!!"

I say we bring this chant back from Spurrier's Duke days. Dylan is more of a pocket passer so I think we'll see a lot more deep passes. Spurrier said he liked that chant in the documentary so let's bring it back.

If Dylan can start connecting with Damiere deep it could be a long evening for Texas A&M.

I agree. Wonder if anyone in the stands tries to get it started?

I thought the same thing last night. It would be awesome to get the stands chanting "Air Ball" after a long completion. Maybe it becomes a passing TD chant. Great idea! I wish I was there to get it started tonight!

I thought it was just a basketball school searching for a football chant.

I'll start it if we connect on a bomb.

I thought so too. If it catches on, then great, but I think we should just leave the "air-ball" thing at Dook.

Agreed. Also, I assumed another reason for chanting air ball back then was because Spurrier was sort of revolutionizing the game with the downfield passing attack. It's not really as groundbreaking anymore to sling the ball all over the field. Seems kind of silly to chant "air ball" every time we complete a pass. It's standard stuff.
