Hmm they probably were a group of people that were really happy about watching their team whoop ass. Just my guess.

I talked to several after the game and they were all nice and very happy.

My experience before the game was they were all kind of quiet. And after the game they were polite and friendly, having just seen their team destroy a favored opponent. In game, they were audibly present for the yells. That's all I've got.

I sat in section 509 around a LOT of them. They were great. Friendly. Cheered the Aggies on of course. I literally didn't hear an insulting word from a single one.

NOW, that said, I want to apologize to any A&M fans in section 509 for that fat redneck in the black/grey camo shirt who was trying to fight everyone. This fatass redneck, guys, was dropping F-bombs, saying "sumbitch" over and over, literally saying to Aggie fans "I'll come up there and knock your teeth out you sumbitch if you don't shut the **** up" when they cheered.

After A&M went up 17-7, he started yelling "One more and I'm going to drank burr" (I think "burr" means beer).

And he left early in the 2nd quarter, thank God.

A&M fans, like any fanbase, we have our "fans" who don't represent our whole fanbase.

After that redneck left, me and several other USC fans turned to many of the Aggies and apologized, and congratulated them on their team playing so well. The Aggies fans were awesome, and actually said "Its ok, we know everyone has idiots like that".

Hate we lost so bad. But, A&M is a great addition to the SEC, and their fans as a whole were awesome guests.

Glad to hear our fans were nice and respectful and represented us well. I know we all have those that are rude, obnoxious, obstreperous, etc. Hopefully y'all won't experience much of that when you come down here next year, but I'm sure someone here will act like a jerk.

Re: How were the Aggie fans at the game?

I may be biased because I grew up a little bit of an aTm fan (mostly just hate texas), but I loved the Aggie fans there. I brought my grandfather and he was a celebrity there in his class of '47 hat and his shirt with three generations of aTm graduations embroidered on the back. I was welcomed heartily in the Aggie alumni tailgate and several other groups of fans stopped us to offer beer and water.

In the stadium, we were in an Aggie section and I heard several of them talking about how much they loved the stadium. They were respectful fans the whole time. I did hear a whole lot of complaining about the heat until the sun went down behind the stadium. As soon as that happened, they started talking about how the Texas heat prepared them better. No one will ever understand the complex Texans have about heat.

It was a tough loss to swallow, but none of that was because of visiting fans. At least I can hold my head high knowing I dominated an Aggie tailgate in a beer shotgunning contest.

But that said, I understand the history around the yell leaders, but that was the first time I ever saw them in action at a game and it was seriously weird. When they started letting women into the school, they really should have extended that to the cheerleading squad.

Met and talked to many A&M fans before game. Wasnt in the mood afterwards. Had no problems with any Aggies except walking back afterwards and some dumbass yelling something like "Good game Cock and Balls" or something like that out his car window. Just gave him the bird and kept walking. For the most part very nice people. Especially alumni.

They were all very courteous. Had a few stop us to ask directions, very polite.

I do not remember any bad Aggie fans except the one guy and his girlfriend who got into a shouting match with a woman in front of them in the 901 section. The cops went to escort them out and the guy tried to run. He was led out in handcuffs...

Other than that, they were fine.

Did not have a bad word to say about them.

As many mentioned...many were very quiet before the game...they did their cheers of course and made noise, but none showed their ass.

Maybe it is different when they are at Kyle Field...but all the busch league stuff we heard I didn't see.

Maybe it is the fat West Texas Rednecks who ruin their fanbase, but honestly, they are some of the better fans we have in the conference. They weren't quite as fun as the Mizzou fans...but they were pretty close.

At the game great but the grins from ear to ear was what I wanted so I'm jealous in that regard. Much better than the trolls sitting in texas that didn't come thank goodness lol.

Re: How were the Aggie fans at the game?

The ones in our immediate area were great in 501. Now there was a few "classy" fans when we were leaving hollering the f-bomb and everything else to the Carolina fans leaving.

Re: How were the Aggie fans at the game?

For the most part they were great. After the game I went up to one guy and congratulated them on the win and said good luck the rest of the year. Guy said he was "so happy we wiped the smirk off Spurrier's face. That a$$ needs to learn to shut his damn mouth." Then continued to rant about how much he hates Spurrier and that Carolina is nothing. Needless to say I was fortunate enough to run into possibly the biggest ass that traveled to Columbia. Left a sour taste in my mouth.
