Looking ahead to UGA

Watching the game with Clem right now. Obviously, Gurley is a BEAST. I imagine if Whammy has seen any of this he's lying on the floor in the fetal position sucking his thumb. On the other hand, their QB hasn't struck a lot of fear in me. He's ok...seems to be more of a game manager. But Gurley...sheesh. Can't begin to imagine why they aren't simply giving him to every single down. He can't be stopped.

The backups are stout too.

If we tackle like we did the other night, it will be ugly.

I like us to score points. However, if we don't man up on the defensive line we're going to get 511 yards put on us by a single player again......on the ground this time.

One thing is becoming apparent. They aren't very good.

They, as in, who?

Gurley and his RB cohorts are going to punch us in the mouth, insult our mothers and then steal our lunch money

We will be lucky to hold TG to 250

This is much better matchup for us IMO. Gurley will get his but I think our personnel is much better suited to slow him down than an air raid. This one is winnable IMO.

I'm not looking forward to that game. I'm not going to call out any individuals on defense, but we have some guys that can't take an angle on a ball carrier to save their lives. Forget running them over, Gurley is going to run right past them if they don't figure some things out in the next two weeks.

I don't think their QB will beat us, but UGA appears to be loaded at RB...Gurley, Michel, Chubb (great name by the way). We spent a grand total of about 30 seconds in A&M's back field all night on Thursday. UGA will be able to pound us into submission.

that run by chubb was ridiculous

Re: Looking ahead to UGA

Speak of the devil...Chubb just steamrolls to a long TD run.

Not a UGA question...but I thought Vic Beasley was suspended for the UGA game?

Re: Looking ahead to UGA

Notice how UGA is using their 3rd string RB late in the game. The announcer even praised them for bringing in a guy with fresh legs. They will do this against us, and if were smart, we hit em with the same. Something we didn't do against aTm.

Remember when Chubb wanted to be a gamecock?
