Whiskey QB 2014

http://espn.go.com/college-football/...houlder-injury

An injury to Whiskey's starting QB may put Mcevoy into the starting QB position throughout 2014.
Saturday Mccevoy was 8 of 24 passing.

Why are you referring to Wisconsin as Whiskey?

Re: Whiskey QB 2014

He didn't have a very good night throwing but there were some runs that made you say wow. There is no question the guy can move. I wish we could've seen more of it.

I'm glad Noso stayed, hope he can get better passing, because he does seem to run well.

Poor Wisconsin. But maybe Tanner will get better and please don't refer to them as whiskey the 2 things are not in the same category. When it comes to football my Whiskey is The Gamecocks don't disrespect whiskey like that.

Re: Whiskey QB 2014

McEvoy is a hell of an athlete, but not much of a QB. He looked pretty terrible passing, granted, his receivers didn't give him much to work with against LSU's secondary.

It'll be interesting to see how much he improves because he's not unlike Cam Newton/Nick Marshall/Brett Hundley in terms of stature and running ability.

Re: Whiskey QB 2014

um yeah..check out his stats today so far against Western Illinois. The kid should probably be a WR or Safety. He his a serviceable QB, thats about it.

Edit: I say this, then he connects on 3 consecutive passes...so.

Looks like it finally clicked..he's got a rhythm going now.

Re: Whiskey QB 2014

I would say so, over 200 yards passing, 3 TDs and rushed for more than anyone else in Wisconsin's backfield. Yeh, that is right, their QB rushed for more than anyone in Wisconsin's backfield haha Just feels strange typing that out, when you think of Wisconsin you think Monte Ball

Re: Whiskey QB 2014

Yeah, he started off really shaky with a INT and sub 50% passing, but then he got it going. That being said, Wisc. is going to have a tough year I think.

Too bad all of those Qbs you mentioned were completely different size/stature, and in terms of skills. Hundley runs far less than the others and Marshall is 6'1 200 on a good day

I feel the only reason this thread was started was so the OP could refer to Wisconsin as Whiskey.

Which is retarded.
