Any kind you can put in a crock pot with a diced bell pepper, diced tomato, diced onion, minced garlic cloves, chopped basil, and ground beef.

Let it go for about 6 hours. That is the best money can buy.

I usually just get a can of Hunt's Past Sauce (Garlic & Herb) along with their Four Cheese can as well, mix them together, add some chopped onion/bell pepper, and throw in some oregano....and we're good. Of course, we add some hamburger meat and some meatballs. Pretty damn good.

for something quick I start with two of the big jars of ragu, one of the old world style flavored with meat, and one with the old world style chunky tomato garlic and onion, put in the crock pot and then cook and drain about a pound of hamburger and a pound of crumbled sausage (I like the hotter versions) and add those to the pot, let it cook 4-6 hours on low to blend the flavors then serve over penne pasta cooked al dente (should be firm but not crunchy) i also like to top with a little parmasan and mozzerella cheese

I've gotten to where most of the jar/canned stuff gives me heartburn something fierce. I started making my own, and all of that went away. Anyways if you don't mind shelling out a few extra pennies for it, Newman's Own is pretty good stuff.

Ha ! I started to reply to this when I saw that I already had a couple months back. I make my own nowadays and would never go back to store bought. That is unless Cack, Yancey, Tolley and I were freezing our rear ends off tailgating . Then I'd short cut it!
