Re: David Johnson 2015

Re: David Johnson 2015

"But right now it seems to me he is a classic tweener player whose weight gain didn't really work, and who doesn't have outstanding quickness at his "natural" weight."

The answer seems here. Was...

Re: Is 2015 Team Better?

i knew last yr we had scored more than 30. I ws asking what the typical output has been during the SS run. Seems given the losses on O if we were to aproach the average scoring during the SS run that...

Re: Is 2015 Team Better?

Evening all, B381, You and others know are production well. If our D were to cut 14 PPG allowed by fully 1/3% for the 15 yr. Seems that is about as large a decrease as one could reasonably predict....

Re: Is 2015 Team Better?

"Everyone at South Carolina is ready to jump off a cliff despite returning one of our deepest O lines in recent memory."

Hopefully u r correct about our turning out solid but being a "deep" O line...

Re: Did SOS just offer up a clue on the QB situation?

Beyond my beautiful bride... grocery shopping, small gust of wind, pants that don't fit quite right are amongst things that have had such an affect.
As a youngster in school I took alot a zeros.

Re: Did SOS just offer up a clue on the QB situation?

I'm not as sure as you about the status of Mitch not being deemed QB1 as a positive. If comp for job is still on, even as a farce, that means first team reps are being shared. I'd think I'd rather...

Re: Did SOS just offer up a clue on the QB situation?

It ws an extention of my original post that started out questioning how Mitch could manage not to have been coronated QB1 given his notables, measurables and time in system and the utter absence of...

Re: Did SOS just offer up a clue on the QB situation?

It seems I miss tagged him and given I have expressed significant concerns for what we might see with him it is understandable that I receive a correction.
Amoung my positive impressions of him ws...

Re: Did SOS just offer up a clue on the QB situation?

If so I stand corrected. I have read, here, comments augmenting his physical size and foot speed combo. how his run threat may offer some of the inside read option that SG offered when combined with...

Re: Did SOS just offer up a clue on the QB situation?

Agreed on the reasons Cooper ws used but concerning that those reasons were not out weighted. Cooper can run very well, but is virtually no threat to truly "pass". a 5-8 yrd throw or two fooling...

Re: Did SOS just offer up a clue on the QB situation?

As "nickstockman " said, not sure I've seen much evidence of sitting a "ready to play" player not playing at all for the purpose of development.
I have seen it when a position is stocked 3 or more...

Re: Did SOS just offer up a clue on the QB situation?

Seems from what I see and read many simply fear the implications of "Spurrier won't come out and name him the starter just yet"
Given all his accolades, his time in system, his measurables and the...

Re: O Line

agreed w/ all u say. Shell isn't any more risky LT try than are others for there own reasons. MY concern in being forced to give him the crack at LT is by doing so we lose our clearly best OL, that...

Re: O Line

Shell seems to me your photo typical "not LT". The left side is tough simply because nearly everyone's primary side is to the right, QB,RB, OL and nearly everyone is more effective to their primary...

Re: O Line

First, according to my infinite wisdom.... Yes! Mike has faster lateral step and more nimble feet by a long long way. Tho on OL it might be more accurate to say the other guys have slower feet. Ol...

Unfortunately yes. While we may vary on who we rate as second choice. I would think we all hope Matulis holds up even generally if not absolutely. He doesn't it's choosing the best of a bad...

Re: O Line

Matulis absolutely the front runner at LT IF he can stay unbroken. Big IF. Park seems most likely to start at LT given the IF.

Re: Discussion: 2016 Recruiting Impressions

think of the double dip this way. last yr u had a salary of 73 grand and u were promised a 10G raise but it didn't make to your check. This yr you did receive a 10G raise, the 83 shows in your check....
