Has Cockytalk been hacked?

I'm getting interruptions every few seconds by Adfly. I have no extensions. What's up? Only happening here.

Re: Isaiah Johnson SS Transfer from Kansas

Wilson was told they were moving on from him and there was baseball involved. Just seems strange to have an all-conference guy heading out. Anybody have a direct quote?

Re: Dexter Wideman

I think if we have trouble sealing either edge, he plays outside. Going to the 4-3 may help also by up-sizing (slightly) our linebacker group. If we have guys who stop the run well without him...

Re: Isaiah Johnson SS Transfer from Kansas

I would wonder why he's transferring. Did he get beaten out? Is he out with the coaches? Is he tired of the cold weather. Want to play in the SEC? Just seems strange with no explanation.

Re: POLL: No. 1 RB Spot Up For Grabs

The thing that impressed me most among Williams's abilities from his HS film was his vision. He sets up a run and picks a path with a very good feel for the field 15-20 yards ahead. I would expect...

Re: COCKYTALK SPRING PRACTICE REPORT: 3/21/15 (Practice # 4)

I'm glad that the QB's are throwing well in these early practices. The coaches keep saying they have plenty of work to do, but sound positive overall. How they will perform under live SEC...

Re: Dexter Wideman

Posters who hip shoot at players and coaches (most because they just seem to like to criticize) should likely keep their apologies simple instead of trying to blame other people for their lack of...

Re: Travelle Wharton to join staff

The restriction is guided by the league limit on the number of assistant coaches
and total coaches who may teach or coach. There's apparently no restriction on the number who may review player...

Re: Dexter Wideman

I like Spurrier's approach to this. Make a short statement reiterating the policy and move on. Excessive speculation in the dark is just a waste and not helpful at all.

Re: Mitch Enters Spring as #1

He said, in answer to a question about who came up with the change back to QB, that the coaches approached him and told him they were moving him after Winter workouts. The interview is on...

Re: Mitch Enters Spring as #1

Ignoring the name-calling and personal attacks that you and another poster have been employing, I just want to point out that what you claim here is directly contradicted by what Nosovitch said on...

Re: Travelle Wharton to join staff

Travelle Wharton has played and been coached at a very high level. His input into the development of the offensive line and the skills of the players can be extremely valuable. Working in this...

Re: The HBC Takes Shot at Vols

Hey. It's the "talking season." He does it every year, and then says it doesn't mean anything but is only entertainment between seasons.

If he comes, Wow! I've admired his play a long time. He should bring a lot to the table.

Re: ALL CONNOR SHAW DISCUSSION

Some blogger type with a provocative suggestion. As stated, they really have a muddle, not a depth chart. Conner apparently ended the season at number one.

Re: Spring Roster notes

Might make for an interesting fake punt on 4th and short. If he can play tight end, he should be able to run.

Re: Mitch Enters Spring as #1

I disagree somewhat on the speed issue and running the zone read. I think you need about a 4.7 or better but good vision. Good vision and the sense of a runner lets a QB get that 5-7 yards,...

Re: Your bold predictions for the 2015 season

Bold and hopeful.
We finally see some aggressiveness and attacking from our secondary and linebackers based on some key factors. One is a much improved pass rush and improvements sealing the edge...

Re: Write-up on Orth

The best spring game I remember by a QB was Syvelle Newton his freshman year. He led one squad to 3 TD's, went over to the other team and got 2 more and made the game interesting. He threw long,...

Re: Write-up on Orth

My thoughts last year at the spring game on the QB's included some optimism on Orth. He threw well on rollouts after throwing a bad interception. He seemed to have a good sense of the field and...

I was under the impression Clayton dropped the weight recovering from a medical procedure and the move was spurred by the weight loss.

Re: Transfer - QB Connor Brewer

I think Garcia's lack of accuracy was the only thing that kept Alshon under 1600 yards one year and under 1000 the next. He often missed short receivers, overthrew guys open long, and threw the ball...

Re: Winter Workout Wrap-Up

UNC's whole offense was built around making the D run around chasing the ball. If you listened to their coaches and read up on the strategy they used it was based on throwing to the perimeter or...
