Re: A simple defensive line "depth chart" question

The bad thing is he's actually one of our better options. He's actually pretty strong for his size. There run game is a Lil different than typical run heavy sets. They run outside and have a lot of...

Re: Lorenzo Nunez

The biggest problem with a true freshman qb is that you have to simplify the offense so much. And that's something that Spurrier has never done. I think Nunez can be good and potentially next year...

Re: 2015 Commitment - Lorenzo Nunez

Nunez will have a lot to do really quickly if he wants to play. He can but its gonna be tough

Re: 2015 Commitment - Lorenzo Nunez

To me at it has nothing to do with orth. It's just the fact that if he is the starter then we successfully missed on 4 straight QB's. You can't have that and be a winning team in the SEC

Re: 2015 Commitment - Lorenzo Nunez

I agree on playing the best option the only thing is the QB position is so cerebral that it is very hard for a freshman to be successful. Running the zone read and simplifying the playbook is a good...

Re: 2015 Commitment - Lorenzo Nunez

Those were not true freshman in johnny and Jamies. Both were redshirt freshman when they took over as the starters. Big difference in that two. Watson at Clemson didn't start at the beginning of the...

Re: 2 offensive players practicing on defense

And Adams weighs like 240 so that would put us in the same boat with guys like Harris and English.

Re: Ward in the press box

Its hard to see shifts a missed holes and stuff when you are on the sidelines.

Ward is also a very good recruiter he is the main reason we get most of the guys from Georgia

Re: QB Recruiting Strategy

Difference is we have several other good players we are keeping touch with like Avery McCall. Who has repeatedly said USC leads despite the fact that everyone says were are all in on McIlwain.

Re: 2015 Commitment - Mark Fields

He will play next year. He can play both safety and corner at a very high level. Whichever will get him on the field faster will be what he plays.

Re: All Mitch

Its all between the ears with Mitch. He has the talent to be very good. if he shows that he is dedicated and works hard in the off season then i think he will be a very good one. He has a lot more...

Re: Ward in the press box

ward can only do so much with the talent we have. the db's are talented and have improved throughout the year. our pass rush is awful and that has alot of impact on the secondary as well. Champ...

Re: Expectations

Key recruits not getting into school has a lot to do with it. Players leaving early when they should have stayed is another big reason. If quarles and Hampton stay and say jhaustin Thomas and Dante...

Re: Ward in the press box

Getting rid of him this quickly after one bad season I think is a Lil harsh. The biggest problem with the defense is the fact that we have had so many really good players committed but can't get into...

Re: 2016 - Tavien Feaster

I don't think it's as much of a done deal as most people think of him going to Clemson. They have a pretty good lead right now but I don't think it's a done deal. I've seen the kid in person and he's...

Re: 2015 Commitment - Lorenzo Nunez

He will play next year you can write that down. He may not start at the beginning of the year but I would put money on him being our starting QB by the end of the year. He looks like he can be a...

Re: Time to start next year's Quarterback

Its not that we scored but the last 3 drives when it mattered that we needed to score or at least sustain a drive for a while we couldn't. Also its not very hard to hand the ball off every time. I...

Re: 2016 - Collin Hill

I've seen Whiteside play in person several times and he is very impressive. He is sneaky fast kinda like alshon. Doesn't seem fast but doesn't really get caught from behind. He plays in one of the...

Re: Why not Nosovich @ TE?

It's amazing with one bad game by busta and now a former QB is better than him. You do remember he had like 8 catches and a TD against UGA and it was a helluva catch. He should've caught the TD last...

Re: RB Recruiting (2015 and 2016)

Hes pretty big but i seriously doubt hes 230. Hes probably more around 210 or so which is really big as a 18 yr old. He could easily get up to 235 or so in a yr or two. Turner is probably more...

Denson and Turner are pretty dang talented. Williams will be a junior in that season and in sure we will sign another good back. There are several good ones we are recruiting. Big name I've kept...

Re: QB Recruiting Strategy

I'd put my money on him too. He already has the mechanics that Spurrier preaches and seems to be a real smart kid with a great work ethic. All of the reports I've hears on him have been positive and...
